Shengyu Lim gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore NBL (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced International Power forward Shengyu Lim (192-F/C-1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for SG Basketball and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 35-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Xin Hua (#8, 3-6) 82-77. SG Bball maintains the 4th position in Singapore NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. SG Bball will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. In the team's last game Lim had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at SG Bball, through which he has constantly improved. Lim has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 7.9rpg), assists (6th best: 2.9apg) and averages solid 61.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Jay-Shay Lin of Chong Ghee. Lin impressed basketball fans with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Chong Ghee lost that game 63-68 to slightly higher-ranked SBA (#6, 3-6). This loss caused Chong Ghee to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Lin is a newcomer at Chong Ghee and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.1ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 6.5rpg and 3.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was another SG Bball's star - Jonathan Hai. Hai showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of SG Basketball, helping his team with a 82-77 win against the lower-ranked Xin Hua (#8, 3-6). SG Bball needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Hai has a great season in Singapore. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (best scorer) and assists with 2.8apg (8th best).
