Raj V number one in Singapore NBL for round 17

International Forward Lavin Raj V (201-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Tong Whye, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 38 points and 11 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Xin Hua (#5, 9-7) 70-78. Tong Whye maintains the 6th position in Singapore NBL. Tong Whye is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 8th lost game this season out of 16 games. In the team's last game Raj V had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tong Whye's top player in his first season with the team. Lavin Raj V has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.3ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.5rpg) and averages impressive 52.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Harihaaran Parathy of Tagawa. Parathy had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Tagawa cruised to a 74-65 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Chong Ghee (#4, 10-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. He also registered 7.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Delvin Goh (201-F-1995) of league's second-best Adroit Club. Goh showcased his all-around game by recording 9 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Adroit, leading his team to a 73-52 easy win against the lower-ranked SBA (#7, 7-9). Many experts and fans count Adroit as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 15 victories and only one lost game. Goh has a very solid season. In 11 games in Singapore he scored 8.1ppg. He also has 7.7rpg and a FGP of 64.3%.

10. Jun Hao Mah) of Hornets - 16 points and 7 rebounds
