Zao Liang Chia gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore NBL

Zao Liang Chia put on an amazing game in the last round for Xin Hua Sports Club and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Tungsan (#12, 0-5) with 31-point margin 97-66. Xin Hua is placed at 4th position in Singapore NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Xin Hua will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Chia had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Xin Hua, through which he has constantly improved. Chia has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 14.4ppg) and assists (2nd best: 1.8apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Xin Hua's star - young international Xing Yuan Han (189-SF-1996). Han impressed basketball fans with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Chia he helped Xin Hua Sports Club with another comfortable win outscoring Tungsan (#12, 0-5) 97-66. This victory allowed Xin Hua to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Han is one of the most experienced players at Xin Hua and similarly like Zao Liang Chia has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Jun Seo Han of SBA (#6). Han scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of SBA, leading his team to a 78-73 win against the lower-ranked Police (#10, 1-6). SBA needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Han has a great season in Singapore. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 1.1apg (9th best).
