Malaysia - Singapore 75:69

Malaysia defeated Singapore 75-69 in Group F opener of the 2025 Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers. Trailing 14-15 first in the opening period and then 7 points at the halftime, Malaysia took control of the game in the second half. They replied with a 26-21 run in the third quarter and closed the game with a final 22-14 rally.
Yi-Hou Wong (195-F-1996) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Chun-Hong Ting (193-G-1996) netted 16. Xian-Fu Ooi (188-SG-2000) followed them with 13 points in a win. Shi-Yu Ng (197-F-2000) replied with 17 points in defeat and Justen Chiam (177-G-2002) netted 12.
