Teo number one in Singapore NBL for round 1

Forward Yung-Juen Teo (191-F-2003) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tagawa, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Xin Hua (#10, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 63-61. Thanks to this victory Tagawa moved-up to the 3rd position in Singapore NBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Tagawa won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Teo has many years of experience at Tagawa, through which he has constantly improved. Yung-Juen Teo has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 13.0ppg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international guard Terry Lua (191-G-1997) of Xin Hua Sports Club. Lua had a very good evening with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Xin Hua was edged by Tagawa (1-0) 63-61. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Lua is one of the most experienced players at Xin Hua and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tagawa's star - international forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-F-2000). Ng scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Tagawa, helping his team with a 63-61 win against Xin Hua (#10, 0-1). Tagawa has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Ng also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Ng as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.

8. Xing-Yuan Han (189-SF-1996) of Xin Hua - 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Heng-Kiazoel Lee) of Tong Whye - 14 points and 8 rebounds
10. Wei Long Wong) of SBA - 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
