Lim number one in Singapore NBL for round 2

Singapore Guard Kelvin Lim (191-G-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked SBPHK Hornets, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Xin Hua (#9, 0-1) with 16-point margin 74-58. Hornets is placed at 2nd position in Singapore NBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Hornets won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Lim had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hornets' top player in his first season with the team. Kelvin Lim has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.0ppg, leads league in rebounds with 18.0rpg and is league's best passer with 6.0apg. Lim is in league's top in and averages impressive 69.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Lavin Raj V (201-F-2000) of Tong Whye. Raj V had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Tong Whye to another comfortable win 79-63 over Siglap (1-1) being unquestionably team leader. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Raj V is one of the most experienced players at Tong Whye and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#3). He also registered 11.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Harihaaran Parathy of Tagawa (#7). Parathy scored 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Tagawa, leading his team to a 93-55 easy win against Police (#12, 0-3). Tagawa needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. The season just started for Parathy as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
