Wong number one in Singapore NBL for round 21

Malaysian Point guard Zhong-Han Wong (183-PG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Adroit Club, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, eight rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Tagawa (#4, 13-7) 82-70. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Adroit to consolidate first place in the Singapore NBL. Adroit has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 19-1. In the team's last game Wong had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Adroit's top player in his first season with the team. Zhong-Han Wong has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (8th best: 2.8apg) and averages impressive 62.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Malaysian Russell Low-Wen (200-C-1993) of league's second-best SBPHK Hornets. Low-Wen had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Hornets was edged by the lower-ranked Xin Hua (#5, 12-8) 78-76. Hornets managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. His team belongs to top of the standings with 19-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Low-Wen is one of the most experienced players at Hornets and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Zahid Mohamed of Siglap Basketball Club (#8). Mohamed scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Siglap, leading his team to a 78-57 easy win against the lower-ranked Nanyang (#12, 3-18). The chances of Siglap ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Mohamed could help Siglap to bring them higher in the standings. Mohamed has a very solid season. In 9 games in Singapore he scored 9.8ppg.

9. Delvin Goh (201-F-1995) of Adroit - 14 points and 8 rebounds
10. Schenider Ang) of Nanyang - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
