Russell Low-Wen gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore NBL

Malaysian Russell Low-Wen put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best SBPHK Hornets and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The had a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Police (#11, 0-4) with 26-point margin 86-60. Hornets maintains the 2nd position in Singapore NBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Hornets already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Low-Wen has many years of experience at Hornets, through which he has constantly improved. Low-Wen has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 9.5rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Shengyu Lim (192-F/C-1990) of SG Basketball. Lim impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led SG Bball to another comfortable win 67-50 over Tungsan (0-4) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Lim is one of the most experienced players at SG Bball and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#1). He also registered 10.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international forward Delvin Goh (201-F-1995) of top-ranked Adroit Club. Goh showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Adroit, leading his team to a 69-66 win against #3 ranked SBA in a game of the week. Adroit started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Goh turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title.
