Raj V number one in Singapore NBL for round 6

International Forward Lavin Raj V (201-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Tong Whye, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat SBA (#6, 3-4) 66-60. Tong Whye is placed at 2nd position in Singapore NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Tong Whye will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. Raj V just recently signed at Tong Whye, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Lavin Raj V has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.3ppg) and rebounds (8th best: 9.1rpg).

The second best player in last round's games was Alpha McKevin of Chong Ghee. McKevin had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Chong Ghee to another comfortable win 74-58 over slightly lower-ranked SBA (#6, 3-4) being unquestionably team leader. Chong Ghee's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. McKevin is one of the most experienced players at Chong Ghee and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.4ppg (#7). He also registered 13.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was international Xing Yuan Han (189-SF-1996) of Xin Hua Sports Club (#5). Han scored 20 points and passed 6 assists. He was a key player of Xin Hua, leading his team to a 90-62 easy win against slightly lower-ranked SG Bball (#7, 3-4). Xin Hua needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Han has a great season in Singapore. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.8apg (7th best).
