Forward Lavin Raj was tied for the best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 38 points he had in the Singapore league. Despite his strong performance, his team Tong Whye lost to the Xin Hua Sports Club 70 to 78. He also added 11 rebounds that evening. Raj is the 3rd best scorer in the league averaging over 19 points and over 9 rebounds per game. He also represented Singapore at the SEA Games in Hanoi (Vietnam) to years ago. Among many awards his team made it to the NBL Semifinals in 2023. He was selected to the Asia-Basket All-Singapore NBL First Team in 2023. Raj was also selected to the Asia-Basket All-Singapore NBL Second Team in 2022. He was also awarded Player of the Week in the Singapore League 2 times already this season.
