Adroit forced 22 Siglap turnovers. Strangely Siglap outrebounded Adroit 47-32 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Toh Qing-Huang scored 22 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Meng Kwek-Wei chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Adroit players scored in double figures. Vignesh Rengarajan responded with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Reece Low produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

Hornets outrebounded Xin Hua 52-34 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kelvin Lim-Hong orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Malaysian Russell Low-Wen contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Mitchell Folkoff (180-1989) replied with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Liang Chia-Zao added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Xin Hua. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
