Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedSiglap (3-1) defeated bottom-ranked SBA (0-4) 73-57 on Wednesday. Forward Zahid Mohamed nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Xavier Ng Jun (188-2000) accounted for 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Haran Rajan came up with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Emil Putra added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for SBA in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Siglap have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Loser SBA still closes the standings with four games lost.
