Lim number one in Singapore NBL for round 11

Singapore Guard Kelvin Lim (191-G-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked SBPHK Hornets, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 25 rebounds, while his team outclassed SAF (#11, 1-9) with 52-point margin 103-51. Hornets maintains the 2nd position in Singapore NBL. Hornets has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. Lim turned to be Hornets' top player in his first season with the team. Kelvin Lim has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 17.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.0rpg), assists (3rd best: 2.9apg) and averages impressive 62.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-F-2000) of Tagawa. Ng had a very good evening with a double-double of 37 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Tagawa lost that game 64-77 to league's leader Adroit (#1, 10-0). Tagawa is still second from the bottom in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Tagawa managed to get this year. Ng is a newcomer at Tagawa, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 11.3rpg and 3.3apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Lavin Raj V (201-F-2000) of Tong Whye (#4). Raj V got into 30-points club by scoring 41 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . He was a key player of Tong Whye, leading his team to a 94-66 easy win against Zebra (#12, 0-9). Tong Whye needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Raj V has a great season in Singapore. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.1ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 10.0rpg (8th best).
