This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Yokohama BC (33-25) to fourth ranked Hitachi SRT (27-31) 90-89 on Sunday evening. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kevin Jones (206-1989, college: WVU) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-1985, college: Nevada) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Satoru Maeta (188-1997) helped adding 28 points. Four Kawasaki BT players scored in double figures.
