Regular Season Round 59: Hitachi SRT - Yokohama BC 90-89

The most exciting game of round 59 in the B1 League took place in Tokyo. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Yokohama BC (33-25) to fourth ranked Hitachi SRT (27-31) 90-89 on Sunday evening. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kevin Jones (206-1989, college: WVU) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Yuki Kawamura (169-2001) produced 31 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and American Devin Oliver (204-1992, college: Dayton) added 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hitachi SRT moved-up to third place. Yokohama BC lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with 25 games lost. Hitachi SRT are looking forward to face league's leader Kawasaki BT in Kanagawa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yokohama BC will play at home against Toyama G. and is hoping to win this game.
