The Regular Season in B1 League just ended. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Velca (47-13) in Nagasaki on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by eleventh ranked Hannaryz (20-40) 84-63. Kyoto H. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Velca's 34 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Kyoto H. outrebounded Nagasaki 44-25 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kyoto H. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Italian-American forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-1989, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Yuji Morita (173-1996) replied with 17 points for Nagasaki. Nagasaki at the other side still keeps top place with 13 games lost.
Sixth-ranked 89ers (35-25) were very close to win a game against second ranked Thunders (42-18) in Gunma. Thunders managed to secure only one-point victory 87-86. The best for the losing side was American guard Jarrett Culver (198-1999, college: Texas Tech) with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. 89ers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
