There was an upset when higher rankedB-Corsairs (26-34) lost to twelfth ranked Brave Thunders (16-44) in Yokohama 84-88 on Sunday. Kawasaki outrebounded Yokohama BC 41-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Kawasaki looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by Serbian center Dusan Ristic (213-1995, college: Arizona) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds by American Gary Clark (198-1994, college: Cincinnati) did not help to save the game for Yokohama BC . Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (210-1996, college: S.Carolina, agency: Slash Sports) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kawasaki maintains twelfth position with 16-44 record. Loser B-Corsairs keeps the seventh place with 34 games lost.
