Regular Season Round 60: Hokkaido L. - Alvark Tokyo 97-96

A very close game took place in Sapporo between Sapporo and Alvark. Fifth ranked Sapporo (37-23) got a very close home victory over one of their biggest challengers Alvark (41-19). Sapporo managed to escape with a 1-point win 97-96 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Alvark. Even a double-double of 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international forward Ryan Rossiter (206-1989, college: Siena) did not help to save the game for Alvark Tokyo. American Marcus Foster (191-1995, college: Creighton) added 16 points and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hokkaido L. maintains fifth position with 37-23 record. Loser Alvark keeps the fourth place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Nagoya DD.
