Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beirut: Sagesse (#1) and Dynamo (#4). Dynamo was defeated at home 83-89 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Sagesse made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International point guard Ali Mezher (182-1994) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 18 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Christophe Khalil (192-1999) chipped in 28 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was international power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-1990, college: Michigan Tech) with 42 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Sagesse (12-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Newly promoted Dynamo keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Sagesse will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dynamo will play on the road against Atlas (#8) in Zahle and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
The game in Dik El Mehdi supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Antranik (8-8) played at the court of seventh ranked Champville (8-7). Champville did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 85-65. The former international forward Patrick Bou Abboud (199-1987) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Marwan Ziadeh supported him with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Even a double-double of 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists by Elias Sebaaly did not help to save the game for Antranik. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Champville have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Antranik dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost.
An interesting game took place in Beirut where 6th ranked Hoops (7-7) were upset on the court of ninth ranked Homentmen (3-12) 70-65 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was Karl Zaloum who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Habib Abdallah who recorded 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Hoops' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Homentmen maintains ninth position with 3-12 record. Hoops at the other side dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. Homentmen's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Beirut Club.

In the last two games of round 18 Atlas lost to Antranik on the opponent's court 82-90. Byblos unfortunately lost to Champville in a home game 80-85.

Atlas' coach Georges Dagher rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Antranik went down to sixth position due to points difference.
