Caspiy Aktau - Almaty L. 51-94 There was no surprise when 9th ranked Caspiy Aktau (8-17) was crushed at home by third ranked Almaty L. (21-4) 94-51 on Friday. Almaty L. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Caspiy Aktau's 16 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Almaty L. forced 23 Caspiy Aktau turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Caspiy Aktau's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard Nikita Fedchenko (190-2004) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Almaty L. players scored in double figures.
