There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Higher League. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Nur-Sultan supposed to be quite interesting. Third ranked Almaty L. (21-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Gotobeles (9-16). Almaty L. smashed Gotobeles 99-51 on Saturday. Almaty L. dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Gotobeles' 22. Almaty L. forced 35 Gotobeles turnovers and outrebounded them 43-24 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Gotobeles' players. The best player for the winners was point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 assists and 6 steals. Center Daniel Albrant (205-1998) chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds. Almaty L.'s coach Nikolai Tanaseychuk felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Eset Zharkylov (195-1998) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Almaty L. have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Newly promoted Almaty L. maintains third position with 21-4 record having seven points less than leader Shymkent. Gotobeles at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the eighth place with 16 games lost. Almaty L. are looking forward to face ChelSU (#10) in Kostanay in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gotobeles will play on the road against the league's second-placed Bars in Petropavlovsk and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

Rest of the games of round 26 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Almaty L. crushed Caspiy Aktau in a road game 94-51. Bars beat Barsy 2 at home 90-85. Gotobeles won against ChelSU on the opponent's court 68-59. ChelSU unfortunately lost to Bars in a home game 66-82. Barsy 2 managed to beat Caspiy Aktau on the road 76-67.

Caspiy Aktau - Almaty L. 51-94

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Caspiy Aktau (8-17) was crushed at home by third ranked Almaty L. (21-4) 94-51 on Friday. Almaty L. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Caspiy Aktau's 16 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Almaty L. forced 23 Caspiy Aktau turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Caspiy Aktau's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard Nikita Fedchenko (190-2004) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Almaty L. players scored in double figures. Bars - Barsy 2 90-85

No shocking result in a game in Petropavlovsk where second ranked Bars (22-4) defeated 7th ranked Barsy 2 (11-14) 90-85 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bars dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Barsy 2's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-1994) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Artem Parfenov (196-1998) chipped in 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Begzod Mammatrimov (198-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and guard Akylbek Oralbekov (186-2002) added 16 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Five Barsy 2 players scored in double figures. Bars maintains second position with 22-4 record having five points less than leader Shymkent. Barsy 2 at the other side keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost. They are looking forward to face Gotobeles (#8) in Nur-Sultan in the next round where they are favorite. Barsy 2 will play at home against Almaty L. and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

Adilhan Kakimzhanov chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Dmitriy Luchko (193-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and guard Artem Pedko (191-2000) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Newly promoted Gotobeles maintains eighth position with 9-16 record. ChelSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth place with 17 games lost.
