Rather expected game in Kostanay where 10th ranked ChelSU (7-17) was defeated by eighth ranked Gotobeles (9-16) 68-59 on Friday. Gotobeles looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Eset Zharkylov (195-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists. Adilhan Kakimzhanov chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Dmitriy Luchko (193-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and guard Artem Pedko (191-2000) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Newly promoted Gotobeles maintains eighth position with 9-16 record. ChelSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth place with 17 games lost. Gotobeles are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bars in Petropavlovsk in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. ChelSU will play at home against Almaty L. (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
