The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Top ranked Sapporo (26-9) recorded its ninth loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by ninth ranked Alphas (13-22) 81-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sapporo. The best player for the winners was Filipino-American center Kai Sotto (220-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Kazakhstan-American point guard Anthony Clemmons (187-1994, college: Iowa) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Nigerian-American center Jahlil Okafor (211-1995, college: Duke) produced 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Koshigaya A. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Yokohama BC. Hokkaido L. at the other side still keeps top position with nine games lost. They share it with Chiba Jets and Tochigi Brex. Koshigaya A. is looking forward to face higher ranked Sendai 89ers (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hokkaido L. will play against Sea Horses M. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Golden Kings (22-13) against tenth ranked Fighting Eagles (14-21) on Sunday night. Visiting Golden Kings were defeated by Fighting Eagles in Nagoya 73-61. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Golden Kings. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Sean O'Mara (208-1995, college: Xavier) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Jamorko Pickett contributed with 19 points (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 27 points for Ryukyu. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FE Nagoya maintains tenth place with 14-21 record. Ryukyu at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Gunma CT. FE Nagoya will play against Ibaraki R. (#12) in Mito in the next round. Ryukyu will play on the road against Kawasaki (#11) in Kanagawa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Tochigi Brex (26-9) against fifth ranked Thunders (22-13) on Sunday night. Host Tochigi Brex was defeated by Thunders in Tochigi 81-70. It was a great evening for Kerry Blackshear Jr who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Gavin Edwards responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Gunma CT moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ryukyu. Defending champion Tochigi Brex still keeps top position with nine games lost. They share it with Chiba Jets and Hokkaido L.. Gunma CT will meet at home Osaka E. (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tochigi Brex will play against the league's leader Nagasaki (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 35 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:

Ibaraki R. was outscored by Sea Horses M. in a home game 64-97. Shimane SM managed to beat Kyoto H. on the road 85-72. Nagasaki crushed Hiroshima D. on its own court 98-74. Chiba Jets smashed Saga B. in a road game 95-76. Sendai 89ers won against Chiba at home 94-81. San-en NP unfortunately lost to Shiga L-Stars on the opponent's court 73-76. Yokohama BC managed to beat Nagoya DD in a home game 80-70.
The best stats of 35th round was 21 points and 13 rebounds by Damien Inglis of Yokohama BC.



Akita NH - Osaka E. 77-76

There was an upset in Akita where higher ranked Evessa (15-20) was edged by thirteenth ranked Happinets (7-28) 77-76 on Sunday. It was a great evening for point guard Takuya Nakayama (182-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 4 assists. American center Jamel McLean (203-1988, college: Xavier) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) responded with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Ryan Luther (206-1995, college: Arizona) scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Evessa's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Akita NH maintains thirteenth place with 7-28 record. Loser Evessa dropped to the seventh position with 20 games lost. They share it with Sunrockers Sh.. Akita NH will meet higher ranked Hiroshima D. (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Osaka E. will play against Gunma CT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

No shocking result in a game in Tokyo where fourth ranked Alvark (24-11) edged 13th ranked Grouses (9-26) 70-69 on Sunday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great evening for the former international forward Ryan Rossiter (206-1989, college: Siena) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds. Spanish Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) helped adding 14 points. Four Alvark players scored in double figures. French power forward Yannis Morin (208-1993, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Syrian-American guard Trey Kell III (193-1996, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Grouses' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Alvark have an impressive series of six victories in a row. There was a surprise result in Yokohama where eighth ranked B-Corsairs (13-22) beat second-ranked Dolphins (27-8) 80-70 on Sunday. Yokohama BC had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for French power forward Damien Inglis (206-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. American center Kaleb Tarczewski (212-1993, college: Arizona) helped adding 13 points and 11 rebounds. Five B-Corsairs players scored in double figures. American forward Aaron Henry (198-1999, college: Michigan St., agency: Diamond Sports) responded with 22 points and the other American import power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yokohama BC maintains eighth place with 13-22 record, which they share with Koshigaya A. Loser Dolphins keeps the second position with eight games lost. Yokohama BC will meet San-en NP (#8) in the next round. Nagoya DD will play against Sunrockers Sh. (#7) and hope to secure a win.
