There was no surprise in Saga where 6th rankedBallooners (19-16) were crushed by third ranked Jets (26-9) 95-76 on Sunday. Chiba Jets outrebounded Saga B. 41-26 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Chiba Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for American forward DJ Hogg (203-1996, college: Texas A&M) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Nassir Little (199-2000, college: UNC, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 19 points and 12 rebounds. Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Atsuki Kishida (175-1997) scored 13 points. Five Chiba Jets and four Saga B. players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba Jets keep a position of league leader, which they share with Hokkaido L. and Tochigi Brex. Loser Ballooners dropped to the fifth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Hiroshima D. and Shimane SM.
