Very important is a road loss of third rankedGolden Kings (22-13) against tenth ranked Fighting Eagles (14-21) on Sunday night. Visiting Golden Kings were defeated by Fighting Eagles in Nagoya 73-61 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Golden Kings. FE Nagoya made 22-of-23 charity shots (95.7 percent) during the game, while Ryukyu only scored two points from the stripe. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Sean O'Mara (208-1995, college: Xavier) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Jamorko Pickett (206-1997, college: Georgetown) contributed with 19 points (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 27 points and power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ryukyu. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FE Nagoya maintains tenth place with 14-21 record. Ryukyu at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Gunma CT.
