An interesting game for Blowinds (32-3) which played road game in Renova against 3rd placed Kagoshima (27-11). First ranked Blowinds managed to get a 14-point victory 103-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kagoshima. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) who helped to win the game recording 41 points (!!!). Forward Perry Ellis (203-1993, college: Kansas) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-1993, college: LCU) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds for Kagoshima. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Blowinds have an impressive series of twenty five victories in a row. Newly promoted Fukui B. maintains first place with 32-3 record. Kagoshima at the other side keeps the third position with 11 games lost. Fukui B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kagoshima will play at home against the league's leader Fukui B. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Kanazawa managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of seven consecutive losses. This time they won against fifteenth-ranked Veertien Mie in Yokkaichi 87-74. American forward Chris Olivier (202-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Igor Boyarkin chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. At the losing side American forward Josh Martin (201-1995, college: Santa Clara) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 19 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kanazawa maintains eighteenth place with 5-23 record. Veertien Mie at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 26 games lost. Kanazawa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Veertien Mie will play again at home against Kanazawa (#18) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Tokyo Utd unfortunately lost to Tokushima Gam. in a road game 67-78. Shanan Utd rolled over Tachikawa at home 80-59. Yokohama was crushed by Gifu on the opponent's court 90-68. Shinagawa was smashed by Tokyo Z in a home game 67-87.
The most impressive performance of 37th round was 35 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 5 assists by Jacob Lampkin of Tokyo Z.



Shanan Utd - Tachikawa 85-72

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Tachikawa (21-17) and Shanan Utd (16-22), which took place in Kanagawa. Higher ranked Tachikawa lost to twelfth ranked Shanan Utd in a road game 72-85 on Friday.
