Luke Paul, 16-year old Australian guard was voted the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 16 Asia Cup. He plays For the Willetton Tigers. Paul received multiple other awards, was selected as the Best Guard and was chosen to the First Team. He averaged almost 15 points and over 7 rebounds per game during the event. William Hamilton, 16-year old Australian forward was honored as the Best Forward of FIBA Under 16 Asia Cup. He plays For the BA Centre of Excellence. Hamilton was also named to the First Team. Yizhaojie Zhang, 15-year old forward was voted to the First Team of FIBA Under 16 Asia Cup. He averaged over 16 points, , and 4 assists per game at the event. Zhang's 27 points against Mongolia were the most he scored at the tournament.
Tawhiri Cate, 16-year old New Zealander guard was selected to the First Team at the FIBA Under 16 Asia Cup. He plays For the Canterbury Rams. Cate's exceptional play earned him the second spot in assists per game, boasting an impressive average of almost 8. He also logged almost 14 points per game at the event. Cate's 17 points against Japan were the most he scored at the tournament.
