Hayden Jones (197-F-2007) answered with 31 points and 12 rebounds, while Oscar Goodman (199-PF-2007) and Jameer Reed (194-SF-2007) provided 12 points each for New Zealand. 3-4 PlaceChina - Philippines 87-59China stepped onto the pedestal in Doha. They cruised past Philippines to earn the Bronze medals. China posted a 44-29 halftime lead. They followed with a 26-8 rally in the third term to clear off for good. Joaquin Ludovice (176-G-2007) replied with 15 points for Philippines. 5-6 PlaceJapan - Iran 73-71Japan held off Iran to earn the fifth overall position at the tournament. Iran eked out a 39-37 halftime lead. But Japan struck back with an 18-11 run in the third term to take the lead. They protected it throughout the fourth period and raced to the victory. Ginga Sembo (189-SF-2007) produced 24 points, while Shogo Takata (189-F-2007) added 19 points for Japan. Iman Valizadeh (191-SG-2007) replied with 24 points for Iran. 7-8 PlaceJordan - Qatar 75-97Qatar finished the championship on a winning note. They fired past Jordan to earn the 7th place. Qatar dominated from start to finish to earn a well-deserved win. Mohamed Ndao (193-G-2007) tossed in 33 points and collected 11 rebounds, while Abdulla Mousa (184-PG-2008) contributed 26 points and 8 assists for the hosts.
