Australia and China enter championship game in Mongolia

Australia crushed Japan to make it into the championship game in Mongolia. Australia recorded a comfortable 54-19 halftime lead and cruised to the victory in the second half. William Hamilton (193-F-2009) posted 17 points, while Alexander Mabbott (206-C-2009) added 15 points for Australia. Keiji Koshi (163-PG-2009), Goodluckchinedu Ihetu (195-SF-2010) and Shusei Takahashi (175-PG-2009) netted 7 points each for Japan.

New Zealand - China 72-86
China outlasted New Zealand to enter the Final. The Kiwis were in control throughout the first half. New Zealand built a 36-32 halftime advantage. China though responded with a 23-13 rally in the third term to spur ahead. They erupted for 31 points in the fourth frame to ease to the victory. Yizhaojie Zhang (202-F-2010) finished with 24 points, while Boxin Zhao (214-C-2010) added 17 points and 11 rebounds for China. Marco Sula (195-F-2009) answered with 14 points for New Zealand.
