Iran - Malaysia 102-62
Iran breezed past Malaysia to enter the quarterfinal stage. Iran piled up a 49-30 halftime lead. They poured in 53 points in the second half and eased to the victory. Alireza Rashidi (2009) tossed in 21 points, while Mohammad Pakgohar (2009) contributed 19 points for Iran. Yong Lee (180-PG-2009) tossed in 16 points for Malaysia.

Bahrain - Philippines 79-66
Bahrain outscored Philippines to seal their quarterfinal berth in Mongolia. Bahrain posted a 42-37 halftime lead. They went on a 20-13 run in the third term to clear off for good. Mohamed Abdulla (2009) recorded 22 points for the winning side. Luisito Pascual had 10 points for Philippines.

South Korea - Kazakhstan 96-48
South Korea booked their quarterfinal ticket in Mongolia as they cruised past Kazakhstan. South Korea dominated throughout the entire contest. They registered a 57-30 halftime lead and cruised to the win in the second half. Yudam Chu (183-PG-2009) posted 20 points and 10 steals, while Seunghyeon Lee (190-G-2010) contributed 18 points and 9 rebounds for South Korea. Aman Tlembay (2009) had 19 points and 14 rebounds for Kazakhstan.

Taiwan - Lebanon 97-90
Taiwan overcame Lebanon in the qualification for the quarterfinal game today. Taiwan sank 29 points in the first period to gain an 8-point lead. Taiwan unloaded 44 points in the second half to march to the win. I-Le Wang (175-PG-2010) finished with 19 points, while Hung-Yu Chen (186-F-2009) and Shu-Wei Lu (187-F-2009) added 17 points each for Taiwan. Johnny Sawma (184-PG-2009) replied with game-high 38 points for Lebanon.
