Ansh Tomer (205-C-2011) replied with 11 points for India. Malaysia - China 44-100 China marched past Malaysia for the second win in Group C. China unloaded 50 points in the first half to pile up a 28-point halftime lead. They held Malaysia to just 22 points in the second half to race to the victory. Feiyan Lv (197-F-2010) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds for China. Wei Sham (182-PG-2009) topscored with 8 points for Malaysia. Saudi Arabia - Japan 58-78 Japan cruised past Saudi Arabia to stay perfect in Group D. Japan used a 29-8 second-quarter rally to clear off for good. Keiji Koshi (163-PG-2009) came up with 18 points, while Chisonjakku Shiratani and Shusei Takahashi (175-PG-2009) had 14 points each for the winners. Mohammed Alzayer (2010) and Thamer Alqattan (2009) tossed in 11 points each for Saudi Arabia. Mongolia - South Korea 59-85 South Korea stormed past Mongolia for the second straight win in Group C. South Korea dominated from start to finish and registered a well-deserved victory at the end. Beomyoun Park (191-F-2009) provided 25 points, while Taejoon Park (182-PG-2009) added 23 points for South Korea. Sukhbat Damdin (2009) tallied 16 points and 14 rebounds for Mongolia. Indonesia - Philippines 60-65 Philippines opened win count in Group B. They outlasted Indonesia for 1-1 record. Philippines trailed by three points at the first break but used a 19-10 rally in the second term to take halftime lead. Philippines protected it throughout the second half and raced to a hard-fought win at the end. Ethank Tan-Chi (178-G-2009) posted 12 points for Philippines. Muhamad Firdaus (180-SG-2010) and Miracle Christiano (177-PG-2010) tossed in 13 points each for Indonesia. Taiwan - New Zealand 82-101 New Zealand fired past Taiwan to claim the second consecutive win in Mongolia. New Zealand ignited a 37-21 rally in the second term to ensure a comfortable 59-41 halftime lead. They protected it well throughout the second half. Marco Sula (195-F-2009) posted 22 points, while Liam Keogh (194-F-2009) and Brigham Hakaraia (188-F-2009) banked in 12 points each for the Kiwis.
