Japan and Australia advance into Final in Doha

Japan secured the Final berth in Doha. They cruised past New Zealand to advance into the title game. Yuto Kawashima (201-F-2005) was unstoppable with 38 points and 7 rebounds for Japan. They opened a 54-31 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Shuntaro Buto (190-SF-2005) banked in 14 points for Japan. Nicholas Book (203-F-2006) answered with 25 points and 12 rebounds for New Zealand.

Australia - Lebanon 85-51
Australia advanced into the title game in Doha. They crushed Lebanon to set up the championship game versus Japan. Jacob Furphy (193-G-2006) came up with 15 points to lead the winners. Australia accumulated 41-23 halftime lead. They dropped 44 points in the second half and raced to a convincing victory. Rocco Zikarsky (217-C-2006) chipped in 14 points and 9 boards in the win. Ray Sleiman (187-SF-2006) answered with 10 points for Lebanon.
