Group A
Hong Kong - China 46-124
China recorded the first win in Foshan. The hosts coasted past Hong Kong in Group A. Eight players scored in double digits for the winners. Li Jiaheng (186-G-01) led the charge with 17 points. China opened a 61:26 halftime lead and marched to the win in the second half. Aizimaiti Aizimaiti (202-C-02) netted 16 points and grabbed 10 boards for the hosts. Hong Kong answered with 12 points from Lam Man-Kei (185-PF-01).

Group B
Malaysia - Australia 47-110
Australia clinched the first win in Group B as they stormed past Malaysia. The Aussies accumulated a 57:31 halftime advantage and never looked back en route to the starting win. Jay Rantall (189-G-01) accounted for 21 points, whilst Tamuri Wigness (184-G-02) and Joel Capetola (194-F-01) had 12 points each for the winners. Jun-Kai Tang (184-SF-01) replied with 10 points for Malaysia.

Group C
Macau - Iran 45-148
Iran opened win count in Foshan. They breezed past Macau behind 27 points from Matin Aghajanpour (199-PF-01). Iran had little trouble en route to the victory. They recorded a 75:19 halftime advantage and marched to the win. Amirhossein Aliyaridehkordi (192-SG-01) tossed in 18 points for the winners. Navalta Navalta (180-PG-01) tossed in 12 points for Macau.

Group D
Lebanon - South Korea 94-124
Lee Seungwoo (192-F-01) scored 27 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead South Korea past Lebanon. South Korea established a 67:32 halftime lead. Lebanon went on a strong comeback rally in the fourth term but came up short at the end. Kim Jaehyeon (190-G-01) had 21 points in the victory. Rayan Zanbaka (189-SG-01) replied with 30 points for Lebanon.

Japan - India 109-57
Japan claimed the second consecutive win in Group D. They toppled India to remain perfect. Keisei Tominaga (180-G-01) stepped up with 27 points for the winners. The teams were tied at 17 after ten minutes. However Japan unloaded 70 points in the next two periods to clear off for good. Chikara Tanaka (184-G-02) had 22 points for the winners. Princepal Singh (208-C-01) answered with 26 points and 13 rebounds for India.
