Kuwait clinched Arab Club Championship title. They overcame Sagesse for the trophy tonight. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 34-25. But Sagesse won third quarter 32-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kuwait won last quarter 19-12. They made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Kuwait players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American players dominated the game. point guard Charlie Moore (183-1998, college: Miami, FL) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 assists for the winners and Jamal Jones (203-1993, college: Texas A&M, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Paris Bass (207-1995, college: Detroit) responded with 27 points and 6 rebounds and guard Tony Carr (196-1997, college: Penn State) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-9. But Kazma won second period 30-27. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Al Arabi made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Egyptian-Qatari swingman Abdulrahman Saad (185-1996) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Ahmad Albaloushi answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists and American JaJuan Johnson (208-1989, college: Purdue) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kazma. Five Al Arabi and four Kazma players scored in double figures.
