Jawad Adekoya

Al Seeb (D1) signed 31-year-old USA-British guard Jawad Adekoya (198cm-86kg-1994, college: Chicago State). He is the second foreign player in the roster as British Joshua Apple signed here earlier. The last time (2023) he played at Kwara Falcons in Nigerian PBL league. He missed the last two seasons and had a longer break from professional basketball.
Adekoya has also played professionally in the United Kingdom with Cheshire Phoenix, Plymouth Patriots, and Rockets, as well as in the TBL with Dayton F. and Kokomo Bobkats.
He helped his team reach the British BBL Semifinals in 2019.
Adekoya graduated from Chicago State in 2016 and it'll be his tenth season as a pro player. He also played for Kankakee Community College for one year.
