Gordon's 42-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Guard Myron Gordon (190-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for Al Wahda Abu Dhabi and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had the game-high 42 points adding five rebounds and seven assists for Al Wahda in his team's victory, helping them to beat Hader Mot (#4, 1-1) 99-92. Thanks to this victory Al Wahda moved-up to the 6th position in Arab Club Championships league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 2 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Gordon had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Al Wahda and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Bowling Green State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gordon is league's best scorer averaging so far 42.0ppg. Gordon is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 81.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Romeo Enan (208-F/C-1993) of Al Seeb. He is Ivorian forward in his first season at Al Seeb. In the last game Enan recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Seeb lost that game 87-98 to Qadsia (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Enan is a newcomer at Al Seeb and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.0ppg (#4). He also registered 15.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Holland Woods II (184-G-1999) of Al Gharafa Doha (#3). Woods II got into 30-points club by scoring 39 points in the last round. He went also for four assists. Despite Woods II's great performance the Al Gharafa lost 73-84 to #2 ranked Sporting. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Al Gharafa needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victories and 1 lost games. The season just started for Woods II as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
