Omar Abada (ex ABC) is a newcomer at Al Ahly for the Arab Tournament

Omar will play for Al Ahly Cairo in the upcoming Arab Tournament

Abada played this summer at Abidjan Basket Club in Ivorian National 1. In only one Basketball Africa League game just recently he had very impressive stats: 21 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals.

He has been also a member of Tunisian international program for some years. Abada has regularly played for Tunisian senior team since 2012 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2011.

He represented Tunisia at the Afrobasket Championship six years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 5.7ppg, 1.2rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 43.5%, 3PT: 16.7%, FT: 72.7%.

Abada is a very experienced player. Thanks to Abada's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and Africa) in four different countries. He has played previously professionally in France (Saint Chamond), Saudi Arabia (Ittihad), Syria (Al Wahda) and Tunisia (US Monastir and ES Rades). Abada won Tunisian League championship title in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021 and the cup in 2017, 2018 and 2021. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Saudi Arabian SBL All-Imports Team in 2022 and 2023.
