Kazma - Al Ahly 91-95

Al Ahly rallied past Kazma to advance into the title game. It was a great evening for guard Ehab Saleh (193-1995, college: Oregon) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 5 rebounds. Center Seif Samir (205-1993) helped adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. Al Ahly's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Kevin Murphy (197-1990, college: Tenn Tech) responded with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import power forward Latavious Williams (203-1989, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Five Al Ahly and four Kazma players scored in double figures.

Kuwait - Beirut Club 84-74

Kuwait overcame Beirut Club to seal their championship game appearance. Kuwait made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-1990, college: Michigan Tech) came up with 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and American forward Kenneth Horton (201-1989, college: CCSU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Beirut Club in the defeat.
