It is actually his comeback to Cairo as he has played here before. He played this summer at Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 36 games just recently he was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 18.7ppg and had 2.5rpg, 5.6apg and 1.0spg. Hodge helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Player of the Year, Domestic Player of the Year and Guard of the Year. He also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: Score-1 (22.0ppg), 3.5rpg, Assists-4 (3.0apg), 1.3spg, FGP: 46.2%, 3PT-1 (66.7%), FT: 91.7%. Hodge is quite experienced player. Thanks to Hodge's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in eleven different countries. He has played previously professionally in France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Italy, Kuwait (Kuwait), Lebanon (Sagesse and Homentmen), Poland (Enea Zastal), Russia (Zenit), Saudi Arabia (Al Wehda), Spain (Baskonia), Tunisia (US Monastir), Egypt (Zamalek) and The Basketball Tournament (War Tampa). Hodge won Kuwait League championship title in 2022 and the cup in 2006 and 2007. He was selected Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Player of the Year back in 2012 and 2013.
Hodge is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al Ahly. He graduated from University of Florida in 2009 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
