He played last season at Orthodox in Jordanian Premier League. In 21 games he was the best scorer with impressive 25.9ppg and averaged 5.3rpg, 4.2apg and 2.1spg (in top 5). He helped them to make it to the Jordanian League final after they ended regular season as second best team. 2021-22 was a great season as he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic Player of the Year, Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic Best Scorer of the Year and named to All-Domestic Players Team. He also played for Al Shamal in Qatari where in only one game he recorded very remarkable stats: 17 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Abuhawwas also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta (Indonesia) this year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 13.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.1spg, FGP: 40.0%, 3PT: 46.9%, FT: 77.8%. He has played previously professionally in Iraq (Ghaz Al-Shamal). Abuhawwas won Jordanian League championship title in 2016 and 2017. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. Abuhawwas attended Mars Hill College until 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player. |
