The game between third ranked Sudanese Almany (0-3) and fourth ranked Moroccan FAR Rabat (1-2) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Almany was crushed by FAR Rabat in Rabat 46-75. FAR Rabat left bottom position moving up to third place. It was Almany's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Bahrain Al-Riffa (2-2) against fourth ranked Qatari Al Rayyan (2-2) on Sunday night. Visiting Al-Riffa was defeated by Al Rayyan in Doha 89-77. Al Rayyan moved-up to third place, which they share with Al-Riffa and Al Kuwait.
An interesting game for Kuwaiti Al Kuwait (2-2) which hosted in Kuwait City 4th placed Algerian Staoueli (1-3). Third ranked Al Kuwait managed to get a 9-point victory 83-74. Defending Kuwaiti champion maintains third place with 2-2 record behind leader Al Gezira, which they share with Al-Riffa and Al Rayyan. Staoueli at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
Second ranked Lebanese Beirut Club blasted bottom-ranked Omani Ahli Sadab (0-4) in Beirut 100-52. Ahli Sadab is still unable to win any game. Beirut Club (3-1) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Al Gezira and Ahly Tripoli. Ahli Sadab at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.
