Fourth-ranked Taipower (0-12) made lots of trouble for first ranked Taiyuan Textile (11-1) on Saturday. Taiyuan Textile managed to secure only two-point victory 73-71. However their fans expected easier game. Taiyuan T. outrebounded Taipower 43-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. German center Marie Guelich (194-1994, college: Oregon St.) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international center Wen-Yu Lin (180-1995) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. Taiyuan Textile's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) produced 20 points and 4 assists for lost side. Taiyuan Textile have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Taiyuan T. maintains first position with 11-1 record. Taipower at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
