The game between closely ranked teams ended with third rankedChunghwa Telecom 's (4-8) victory over bottom-ranked Taipower (0-12) 71-67 on Sunday. Chunghua T. forced 23 Taipower turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Hui-Ju Liu (163-1996) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and guard Shi-Zan Xu (164) who added 10 points and 4 assists during the contest. Chunghwa Telecom's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Qin-Yu Huang responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Taipower players scored in double figures. Chunghua T. maintains third position with 4-8 record having seven points less than leader Taiyuan T. Loser Taipower still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
