An exciting game was when Second rankedCathay Life faced 4th ranked Taipower . Cathay Life (9-3) smashed Taipower (0-12) 76-53 . Cathay Life looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Taipower 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of New Zealand forward Penina Davidson (190-1995, college: California) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and center Yu-Wen Hsiao (184-2005) who added 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Cathay Life players scored in double figures. Cathay Life's coach Hui-Yun Cheng felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side the former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Rui-Zhen Song scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Cathay Life have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 9-3 record having just two points less than leader Taiyuan T. Loser Taipower still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
