Yulon Luxgen - Bank of Taiwan 85-74 The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Bank of Taiwan (21-7) against third ranked Yulon Luxgen on Thursday night. Yulon Luxgen were defeated by Yulon Luxgen 85-74. Yulon Luxgen forced 21 Bank of Taiwan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and Pu Xia who added 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 16-12 record having five points less than leader Bank of Taiwan. Bank of Taiwan at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost.
