Very expected game when 5th ranked Pauian (2-26) was crushed by first ranked Bank of Taiwan (21-7) 81-61 on Saturday. Bank of Taiwan forced 21 Pauian turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-1991, college: Portland St.) who recorded 28 points and 7 rebounds and power forward CJ Aiken (206-1990, college: St.Joseph's) added 10 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bank of Taiwan maintains first position with 21-7 record. Pauian lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games. Bank of Taiwan will meet Jeoutai (#4) in the next round. Pauian will play against Jeoutai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
