Byblos - Atlas 83-61 The most surprising game was the first loss of Atlas (2-1) on the court of tenth ranked Byblos on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by Byblos 83-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Atlas. It was a great shooting night for Byblos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Atlas' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Mohamed Skaf who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Toufic Sakr (182-99) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Byblos players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by Andre Tannoury (195-1) did not help to save the game for Anibal. American point guard Hamoudy Turfe (183, college: UM-Dearborn) added 13 points for lost side. Hoops moved-up to seventh place. Loser Anibal still closes the standings with four games lost.
