Regular Season Round 4: Dynamo - Beirut Club 77-73

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Beirut: Dynamo (#1) and Beirut Club (#2). Dynamo (4-0) won against visiting Beirut Club (2-1) 77-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Beirut Club. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Omar El Ayoubi (196-91) who helped to win the game recording 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-90, college: Michigan Tech) who added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Dynamo players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Sergio El Darwich (193-96, college: Maine) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international Elie Chamoun (193-94) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Dynamo have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Dynamo maintains first position with 4-0 record. Beirut Club at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Dynamo's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Sagesse.
