Kevin Larsen (ex Alicante) joins Kagoshima

Kagoshima Rebnise (B2 League) has agreed to terms with 32-year-old Danish international center Kevin Larsen (208cm-118kg-1993, college: GWU) for the new 2026-27 season. Larsen played for HLA Alicante in the Spanish Primera FEB for the past two years. In 35 games, he was the league's second-best scorer with an impressive 16.3ppg, along with averages of 5.9rpg and 2.8apg last season. In the 2025-26 season, he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB Honorable Mention, All-Bosmans Team, and League Player of the Week (6 times).
He has also been a member of the Danish international program for some years. Larsen has regularly played for the Danish senior team since 2015 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2012.
He also represented Denmark at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 12.1 points per game and had 5 rebounds per game.
Larsen is a very experienced player, having played professionally in France (Lille), Germany (MBC), Spain (Estudiantes, Breogan Lugo, Surne Bilbao, and Zunder Palencia), and Denmark (Horsens IC).
Among many awards, he won the Spanish League championship title in 2021. Larsen was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Bosman Player of the Year during 2021.
He graduated from George Washington University in 2016 and this will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
