Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa (B1 League) have signed 28-year-old ex-international 182cm point guard Sota Oura for the new season. Oura, who played for San-en NeoPhoenix for the last three years, averaged 7.7ppg, 2.3rpg, and 5.5apg (top 5) in 60 B1 League games in Japan last season. He helped his team reach the Japanese Cup Semifinals. Oura was a member of the Japanese Senior National Team two years ago.
He has played for Happinets before.
Oura's team emerged victorious in the Japanese League Group Central Regular Season in 2025.
