Kyoto Hannaryz (B1 League) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 36-year-old ex-international 176cm guard
Ryuichi Kishimoto for the 2026-27 season. He has played for the last fourteen years at
Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa in the B1 League. In 65 games, he recorded 11.3ppg, 2.2rpg, and 3.1apg last season. He helped them to make it to the Japanese League final. Kishimoto also played 8 games in the East Asia Super League, where he averaged 14.4ppg, 4.8apg, and 1.5spg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. A great season indeed as he was voted to the Asia-Basket.com East Asia Super League Second Team. Kishimoto was a member of the Japanese Senior National Team between 2016 and 2021.
He is a very experienced player, and it may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Kyoto H.
